Forget about the Olympics; the Russia-Georgia conflict over Ossetia is making me very, very VERY nervous. The Balkanization of the planet is getting ridiculous, and it has resulted in increased possibilities for ethnic cleansing, political turmoil and war. My thoughts keep coming back to The Guns of August.
